Executive Summary
The global market expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises is not suitable for large-scale investment in teams, advertising and inventory from the beginning. A more robust approach is to use six months to complete product information, market verification, brand expression, customer development, supply chain testing and system review.
The first month: Organize product and business information
Sort out products, prices, quality, packaging, delivery, certification, company introduction and contact information, and establish a unified data version.
Month Two: Select Market and Customer Profiles
Select one or two target markets, clarify customer types, procurement scenarios, competition and exclusion objects, and verify assumptions through public information and a small number of interviews.
Month Three: Establish official website and brand expression
Improve the company, products, cases, contact information and disclaimer, and establish English and necessary multi-language information. The goal of the official website is to show credibility, not to pursue a large amount of traffic.
Month 4: Start the customer development and trade process
Create lead sheets, customer references, development letters, follow-up cadences, quotations and order document templates. AI can assist with the first draft, but it must be reviewed manually.
Month Five: Test Supply Chain and Delivery
Validate quality inspection, packaging, logistics, documentation, collection and after-sales processes through samples, small orders or mock projects.
Sixth month: Review and formulate standards
Count the number of customers, effective conversations, samples, orders, bounced letters, delivery issues and costs to form customer profiles, processes, knowledge base and next-stage plans.
The auxiliary role of AI agent
AI can assist with data collection, market research, content, customer profiles, and weekly reports, but companies should set rules and permissions for each Agent.
LW Perspective
The goal of the six-month framework is not to support orders, but to help companies establish an international market expansion system that can actually operate, identify problems, and continuously improve.
